Words go in however you keep them: one to a line, or separated by commas, pasted from wherever they already live. The grid is playable the moment it exists, which is the quickest way to judge a list — whether the entries are too long for the size you picked, too short to be interesting, or too alike to tell apart. The print preview is built from that same grid, so what you approved on screen is what leaves the printer.

Two limits deserve saying plainly. Free use allows a single PDF download per day, and nothing you build is kept: close the tab and the grid goes with it. Keep your list in a document of your own and you can paste it again whenever you want, because the site is not holding on to it for you.

Your words face the same checks the themed pages face. A word with no place on a sheet handed to a room is declined politely rather than silently dropped, so you always know what became of your list, and the filler letters packed around your entries are examined before anything appears.
