Hard Jobs Word Search — Small 12x12 Grid

Small does not mean gentle here. Reversed words in a tight square make short work of anyone scanning out of habit.

Cramped boards force overlap, and overlap plus reversal is the nastiest combination in this format. A run of letters can read as a job forwards and as nothing at all backwards, or the reverse, and the eye tends to accept whichever version it saw first. Slow down at every promising sequence.

The compensation is that the field ends quickly. Every line, column and diagonal is short, so a full systematic check is genuinely possible — something you would never attempt on a large sheet. Treat it as a puzzle to be finished carefully rather than fast, and the small size becomes an advantage instead of a trap.

Hunt rare letters instead of whole words. J, W and F turn up in very few of these jobs, and each one pins a word down wherever it appears.
