Reversal is what makes this level bite. Your eye is trained to read one way, and here many of the answers ignore that habit entirely; a word can also climb a diagonal backwards, which is the hardest shape of all to notice. The list itself has not changed — only the ways it can be laid down.

The sea vocabulary works in your favour here. These are ordinary words with ordinary spellings, so once you accept that they may arrive backwards you still know exactly what you are looking for. That is what makes this the reference grid: it tests attention rather than knowledge, and it stays fair the whole way through.

Learn to read a few endings in reverse. Spotting HSIF or LEHS in a line is far quicker than checking each word on the list one by one.
