The board itself is no bigger than the medium sheet; what changes is that the four reversed directions join in. A word may run right to left, bottom to top, or backwards along either diagonal. Nothing about the vocabulary gets harder — the farm words stay ordinary — but your eyes have to stop assuming that letters arrive in reading order.
Short animal names cause the most trouble here. Reversed, they stop looking like words at all, and a page full of farmyard letters gives them plenty of cover. Longer entries are actually kinder: an unusual cluster of letters is recognizable from either end. This is the version to choose when the easier levels have stopped holding your attention.
Train yourself on the reversed shapes of the shortest names — woc, gip, neh — and read every line twice, once in each direction, before you decide it is empty.
